If no result appears, do not call that proof of release. The name may be entered differently, the agency update may lag, the custody may be outside VINE's scope, or the person may be fully discharged. A saved alert does not replace periodic review. Check that the registration still points to the correct record after a transfer, and update the delivery route if contact details change. If an alert arrives without enough context, open the current result and call the named reporting agency. For IDOC, a separate state profile is better for sentence fields such as actual parole date, projected parole date, projected discharge date, and sentence blocks. VINE's strength is rapid event notice, not a full Illinois sentence calculation.

A calendar only shows that a proceeding is scheduled. A decision or revocation result is needed for the outcome. Modern determinate sentences generally move to MSR by calculation, while traditional parole hearings chiefly concern older indeterminate cases and specific statutory groups.
This local layer matters because an Edgar County resident may have left a state prison elsewhere. County probation does not control that IDOC case. Match the IDOC number across the state profile, VINE result, and any PRB notice so one person's case is not confused with another.
Resolve Edgar County Custody Conflicts
